Workshop with Prof. Adam Brown, The New School for Social Research

On July 14, 2025, we held a joint workshop with Adam Brown, Professor of Psychology at the New School for Social Research and Head of the New School Center for Global Mental Health and the Global Mental Health graduate minor, and colleagues from UZH, together with members of the MULTICAST project. We presented our M-Experiment, in which we tested an autobiographical memory–based training to enhance self-efficacy and examined its effects on laboratory precursors of suicidality. In discussion with Adam Brown and his team, we explored applications of self-efficacy in the context of suicidality and outlined future directions expanding from MULTICAST. It was a very positive and enriching exchange.
